About Nicholas Ruggieri

Most people know me as Nico. I’ve never really been interested in the polished version of entrepreneurship.

The truth is, my life and businesses were built through mistakes, adversity, long nights, pressure, and figuring things out the hard way.

After battling substance abuse in my early twenties and getting sober at 24, I found myself back at zero rebuilding my life from the ground up. That process changed everything. It taught me discipline. It taught me resilience. It taught me how to keep moving forward even when things felt uncertain, uncomfortable, or heavy.

Today, I’m the Co-Founder of Pinpoint Payments and PeakPOS, where I spend my time building businesses focused on payments, commerce, operations, growth, and helping other business owners navigate the realities that come with scaling something real.

Over the last 13 years, Pinpoint has grown into one of the payment industry’s fastest-growing companies in America, processing billions in transaction volume while earning recognition from Inc. 5000 five consecutive years in a row.

But honestly, what I care about most isn’t status or titles. I care about building. I care about growth. I care about becoming better through pressure and helping other people realize they’re capable of more than they think they are.

Everything I speak about, write about, or build is a byproduct of direct experience. Not theory. Not trends. Just real life, real business, and continuing to push forward no matter how ugly things get sometimes.
